Cheyenne has been building her craft and continuing her education since graduating from Atlas Academy. She’s a naturally talented artist who has grown quickly and impressively, thanks to her dedication and unmatched work ethic.
She’s now booking for blowouts, haircuts, color, and manicures. She continues to work closely with Alison to reflect the high standard of care and technique at The Annex.

Stylist
Caylee came to The Annex after graduating from Atlas Academy earlier this year and is now booking all hair services.
She’s already showing strong talent and skill behind the chair, with a special eye for highlighting and lived-in hair color. While continuing to grow under Alison’s mentorship, she’s creating fresh, modern looks that resonate with her guests.

Welcome to The Annex Collective. I’m Alison McGlynn, a stylist since 2002 with a deep passion for education and connection. My journey began at the Douglas J Aveda Institutes, where I taught and mentored up-and-coming stylists while building a loyal clientele. For over 20 years, I’ve been behind the chair growing with my clients, mentoring others, and shaping a style that is uniquely mine, yet always inspired by the mentors who raised me and the world around me.
After a couple inspiring years in Philadelphia, my husband and I felt the pull back to Jackson, my hometown. The energy of city salons lit the spark, but The Annex was born from a deeper desire: to create something meaningful here. More than a salon, it’s a space where expert technique and mentorship thrive in a creative, caring environment.
I’ve trained with artists around the world and specialize in timeless techniques, including straight blade razor cutting, precision form cutting, and classic hair color. My goal is always the same; to leave your hair healthy, refined, and styled in a way that feels naturally you. Wearable, intentional, and rooted in what’s already beautiful.
Opening The Annex in Jackson’s growing downtown feels like both a homecoming and a new beginning. I’m proud to be part of this vibrant community and to offer a space rooted in connection, craft, and excellence.
